On the road again, this time to Koreatown where I visit with Ed Colacion, Principal of Young Oak Kim Academy (YOKA), an LAUSD Small Learning Community (SLC) Middle School, which focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). It is also the first public school in Los Angeles to use single-gender instruction - separate tracks for boys and girls.
